The course
Understanding and using AI, calmly, up to building a first tool of your own. Five Saturday mornings, from 10:00 to 12:00 Rome time, live on Google Meet. The lessons are in Italian.
Registration for the first edition is closed. I'll announce the next course in the coming days: with the form I let you know when registration opens. Would you rather learn in English? I teach tailor-made courses in English.
The first edition
Tutti prompti starts with a course for beginners: five Saturdays, from 31 October to 28 November, from 10:00 to 12:00 Rome time, in Italian.
Learning goals
By the end of the five lessons you will be able to:
- understand what AI is and how it works, including the AI you already use without noticing;
- ask it for what you need, notice when it gets things wrong and keep your own judgement;
- choose the tools that suit you and protect your data;
- read the news and the ethical questions about AI with a critical eye;
- turn an idea into a working tool of your own, even without spending anything.
Each lesson combines explanation, guided practice and questions. The class is small, so I can follow you week by week, as you learn and as you build your prototype?. Between sessions I give you optional exercises: they help you practise and move your project forward. By the end of the course you will have built a working prototype of your own: a tool you actually need. You also keep the full glossary and a reading list to carry on by yourself.
Courses to come
This is the first edition, and more will follow. Later on you will also be able to join other courses: new beginners' editions like this one, advanced courses to go deeper, and courses for a specific field of work.
€200 for the whole course
Five lessons, ten hours in all. Registration for the first edition is closed.
With the form I let you know when registration for the next course opens. The form and the emails are in Italian, like the course.
In English, made to measure
This course is taught in Italian, like all Tutti prompti courses so far. In English I work to measure: one-to-one lessons for people starting out, or a course designed for your team or organisation, around what you need to do with AI.
Write to me at scrivi@tuttiprompti.it: tell me where you are starting from and what you would like to learn, and I will get back to you with a proposal. I answer myself.
Who it is for
Everyone, really. You register on your own, as an individual. If you know each other and come in twos, threes or more, even better! The class is small, 20 people at most, so there is time for everyone's questions. You need no knowledge of AI. You do need to know how to use a computer: open a link, copy and paste, save a file in a folder, join a video call. And you need to follow Italian, the language of the lessons.
There is too much information about AI, and that is exactly the problem: you cannot ask about what you don't know you don't know. I am not adding more voices here: I put things in order. Live, in a small group, with someone you can ask “I didn't get that, can you explain it again?”. The aim is for you to carry on by yourself at the end: to understand what is in front of you, imagine what you could do with it and try to build it, with a new tool in your hands.
Tutti prompti also offers courses and one-to-one lessons to people who already know their way around AI, in Italian and in English. If you are not sure which one suits you, or have a doubt before deciding, write to me: scrivi@tuttiprompti.it. I answer myself.
Practical information
Is the course in English?
No: the lessons are in Italian, and so are the materials. If you would prefer English, I can put together a tailor-made course or one-to-one lessons. Write to me at scrivi@tuttiprompti.it.
Do I need to know anything about AI already?
No. You only need to know how to use a computer: open a link, copy and paste, save a file, join a video call. And you don't have to speak: you can just listen.
How do I register?
Registration for the first edition is closed. I'll announce the next course in the coming days: leave your name and email to hear when registration opens.
How do I take part?
The lessons are live on Google Meet. The Meet link arrives by email two days before each lesson.
What do I need?
A computer: you can follow on a phone, but the hands-on parts become hard. Then an email address to sign up to at least one AI of your choice: in the first lesson I give you some advice on how to do it, then it is up to you. The free versions are enough: paid subscriptions are optional.
What if I miss a lesson?
The lessons are live and there is no recording to watch later; if you miss one, you get the materials and we go over your questions the following week.
Can I find out first whether the course is right for me?
Yes. The goals and practical details are on this page; for anything else, write to me at scrivi@tuttiprompti.it before you register. I reply personally.
Is there homework, or a certificate?
Homework is optional, but it matters: it consolidates what you have learnt and gets you ready for the next lesson. At the end of the course, if you attended at least four lessons out of five, you receive a certificate of attendance.
What is the prototype I build?
It is a small tool you build yourself, with AI, for something you need at work or in everyday life. For example, an assistant that answers questions about your association's documents, or a web page with the calendar of your workshops. It is called a prototype because it is a first version: it works and you can use it straight away, then you improve it whenever you like. You choose the idea during the course: in the fourth lesson we set it up together, and in the fifth you work on it, with my help. The free versions of the AIs are enough to build it. For the advanced features, though, I really recommend at least a monthly subscription, even the cheapest one. If you are unsure which subscription to choose or what it costs, write to me at scrivi@tuttiprompti.it: I reply personally. Back to the text
I would like to learn something specific, or a topic that is not covered here
Write to me at scrivi@tuttiprompti.it and tell me about it: the more detail you give me, the clearer it will be how I can meet your needs.
Who teaches
I'm Isabella Ducros and I teach artificial intelligence in many different settings. I come from the museum world: I have taught and coordinated courses and workshops for the Italian Ministry of Culture, universities, small businesses, and at national and international conferences. I studied philosophy and art history, and since 2023 I have been working with AI: as a manager alongside developers, as a consultant on specific projects, and through teaching, the part I care about most and the one I pursue with this project. I am the one in the classroom, and when you send me a written question, I answer, not an AI.
